If you have access to compressed air, remove the hose going to the tank from the EVAP purge control valve. Remove the tank cap and carefully try to blow into the hose, if it’s building pressure the hose is most likely clogged somewhere and it needs to be inspected the whole way. You can try doing this with the other hose going to the engine also.

Check the ground cable between the battery negative terminal and the body. Take a jumper cable to put between these two components to see if it helps. However, this may need some more advanced troubleshooting of you have load tested the battery and checked all fuses

True, if the fan is only working on setting 4 it’s probably the resistor. The old fan could have damaged/burnt the resistor and therefore the resistor should probably have been replaced at the same time as the fan. Replacing the resistor alone is often an easier job though.

Your engine light seems to be on. You need to read the trouble codes from the engine control module and continue the troubleshooting from there. Maybe an issue with the throttle body, but need to read the codes to determine.

Yeah its most likely the gear selector shifter cables that are either out of adjustment or installed incorrectly. Check both cables to ensure they are installed correctly. If you can post a picture of the gear selector arm and shifter cables it would help 🙂

It’s an access cover to the flywheel/starter. You will most likely not have any emergency issues driving without it, however if you got the chance to put it back, do it! Because it covers dust and other particles to enter the case.

You could probably use an electric wastegate to switch it on and off. However, you may not see a significantly increased fuel consumption during daily driving with a turbo either

To be fair, I think you need to go to a little bit more updated mechanic. Car manufacturers can’t lock the diagnostic system so only they can do it, because it’s not legal! Sure it’s more difficult on newer cars, but it’s not impossible so if you want to use an independent mechanic I would just use someone that is updated on newer car models.

I think you should call an authorized Honda dealer and they will give the accurate part numbers you need for the bulletin repair! There’re a lot of sketchy websites online also, so if you are not 100% sure it’s legit parts it may be worth the money to just buy it from your local authorized dealer!

I would check/measure the Engine coolant temperature sensor to begin with if it’s running fine when it’s warm

Sounds like there is condense or water somewhere. I would check for signs of condense or water in the fuse boxes! I would also check the ground between the battery and engine or between engine and body. Check if there is signs of corrosion on the ground wires there!

It could either be wrong installation, or if you didn’t clean the bracket enough so the pads won’t move as supposed! You need to take it apart again and inspect everything

Do you live in a cold climate? Sometimes if you live in a cold climate, the temperature can drop a little when driving at higher speeds even with new cars!

I don’t know your knowledge, but the easiest way is to first measure the ohm to the sender near it, then measure it from the gauge connector. If it’s not the same ohm then it’s a wiring issue somewhere. To test the gauge you need an ohm tester and load it to see if it’s moving!

When changing the spark plugs, you need to remove the ignition coils or wires and sometimes they can get damaged if they are old, even if you do nothing wrong. A faulty ignition coil could therefore cause the misfires on cylinder one.

If you drive too far with misfires, it can result in either a false P0420 code or the misfires can even damage the catalytic converter. I would try to fix the misfires first, then clear the codes and drive for a while
