    Hi. I’m replacing my engine crankshaft and my new crankshaft is heavier. It is ok? What are the differences/advantages/disadvantages?
    My car is a vw golf plus 5m1 1.9 tdi bls 2008 288000 km

    Is it the same crankshaft as the old one? Same part no?

    No. It’s a compatible one 3 kilos heavier

    Mine has 038L code and the replacement crankshaft has 038S
