Car shifting to neutral

    I have purchased a brand new Hyundai Tucson Mild Hybrid 2022 in Cyprus and from the first week the car was shifting to neutral. The local agent claimed that it was a software issue. In one instance the engine also turned off  while I was driving.  The local agent claimed that they have received and upgraded the software but the problem was not solved. They have then informed that there was a new software upgrade, which they have carried out. No reply yet even after one month I have contacted the Hyundai website. Does anyone experience the same problem? Did the upgrades work? Any European legislation on such issues?

    Hmm I think there is nothing to do in this case, other than trying to figure it out with the dealer or manufacturer, since the car is so new. I’m not sure about your country, but in most places, you will have the right to give back the car for some time, if it’s new and not working as it should.
