Car Forum › Repair & Maintenance › Over heating engine – Dodge Ram 3.0 TDI 2012
Greetings. What would be the cause of an overheating turbocharged engine between the intercooler system and the radiator?
Brand: Dodge
Model: Ram
Year: 2012
Engine: 3.0 TDI
Hey kinfopack, could you clarify this a bit?
Is your engine getting too hot? At which temperature does it run in normal conditions, and on which when under loads (i.e. going uphill for a long time)? This would indicate a problem with a cooling system.
Or, is the temperature of the air getting into the engine too high? This could be a sign of a clogged intercooler.
Tnx
