There is a known problem with these cars, and it is a software problem. Call your authorized dealer and they can probably make a reflash of the ECM to prevent this issue from happening again! If not, there could be a problem with the oil pressure sensor! It does not really sound related to the work with the catalytic converter if they didn’t damage a wire or something like that!
Hello. Quite difficult to say without seeing the car ofc and it’s difficult to say if it’s related. It could be water in any fuse box or a damaged wiring harness. If it won’t crank sometimes, I would check for any signs of water, corrosion, or damaged wirings between the ignition, the fuse box, and the starter. Especially check for it in the fuse boxes 🙂
First check for any vacuum leaks around the intake and vacuum hoses. You can use this guide: https://mechanicbase.com/engine/how-to-find-a-vacuum-leak/.
Here are 10 common things that can cause rough or juddering idle:

Looks like the nut is a little bit rounded. First, you need to knock away the “locker” on the nut (You see where they knocked it in, knock it out instead to remove the nut more easily. Then you may want to try another socket drive which can reach better.
However, it may be stuck and some heat to the nut would help!
Hello.
The oil problem is most likely not related to the EPC Light. VW are knows for burning a lot of oil, so it could be normal.
However, if the EPC light is on, there must be a trouble code stored which you need to read. Other common reason for an EPC light if the engine is replaced is like a brake light switch. But need to check the trouble codes!
Hello. As I understand, the engine won’t crank but just clicks when trying to start? Check out this article if it can help you: https://mechanicbase.com/troubleshooting/car-clicks-when-trying-to-start/
I need the exact model, engine etc to determine if your car has a mechanical or electrical power steering pump. However, if it’s mechanical I would check the serpentine belt and the tensioner to ensure everything seems fine because it seems like it comes when the belt gets loaded when turning the wheel. If it’s a mechanical pump I would also remove the belt and turn the pump wheels etc to feel if something feels strange.
I would anyways check if power is sent to the heating element in the seat. You could also ohm measure them to see if there is an open circuit in the element and ensure it measures the right resistance. If the circuit seems fine and there is power coming to the seat element, you need to check the fuses again and the heating element relay located in the fuse box!
