Hey guys. First time forum posting, hoping I can get the info I’m looking for. My girlfriends 2005 Subaru Baja cranks but won’t start. I’ve checked the fuel pump and fuel filter (filter is in tank), checked the fuel injectors, the coil pack, replaced spark plugs and wires a year ago, checked air filter and MAP sensor. With all that said, I’m not sure if I checked everything correctly. Also, food for thought, the car ran for around 4-5 months after replacing plugs and wires until it died on the road and had to get it towed to the house. Any info or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks!MSelleenAdministratorJanuary 23, 2021 at 11:51 pm
Did you check the fuel pressure and made sure if you have any spark? The spark is quite easy to check by lifting up a spark plug and ground it and let someone run on the starter meanwhile.
Also, did you check through our article? https://mechanicbase.com/engine/car-engine-cranks-but-wont-start/
