My cooling fan won’t turn off after I turn my car off. Worst of all, it drains my battery completely dry. Someone suggests checking the relay, but I can’t find a cooling fan in my car. Can anyone hell?

Probably the fan control module that has failed. If there is a separate cooling temperature sensor for the module, it could be that also! But need to measure the cooling fan module first to see if it is sending power to the fan control relay when the fan is not switching off!

Hi, that same thing happened in my Mustang. It’s a ‘92 and probably doesn’t have the same module. In mine many of the relays were housed in a sealed unit but only the fan relay went bad. The module was more than I could spend at the time so I just wired up a switch for manual operation. You have to remember to shut it off though when you shut off the engine. I’m probably not much help.
