BRAKES Making noise

    My brakes are making a noise – NOT squeaking or squealing; and NOT grinding.  A different noise, which happened suddenly.   Brakes were fine, no noise on way to work, but, as soon as I pulled out of work’s lot, the noise began.   What is the problem with the brakes?

    How does it sound?

    And is the noise present all the time, or just when braking?
