The continuous variable transmission is failing on my 2013 Nissan Sentra. It has 85,000+ miles. The extended warranty offered free by Nissan expired last year. The quote to replace it is $5,200. Is it worth it to replace the transmission with such high mileage?
Doubtful, I’m not 100% but that’s like more than the whole car’s value? If you like the car and it runs well it could be it for you. Not possible to find a cheaper used transmission to install?
