P0335 – Lexus IS 2.5 L V6 2009

    Hey guys,

    I have a 2009 Lexus 250 IS and I did an OBD scan yesterday and P0335 showed up. The car is driving ok, with no vibrations, hard start, etc. There are no check lights on the dashboard either. I revved the engine to live 5000 rpm the other day and notice black smoke, which I think is a rich burn.

    I am curious why there are no check lights on the dashboard and if the rich burn is linked to this code. Please help.

    JFreddy, as the check engine light is not on, it’s probably that this code was stored before (being inactive, so to say, when you scanned the car).

    Can you take it for a drive and check if it pops up again?
