Hi I recently bought 2 brand new speakers for my dodge neon. I ran into a problem installing them though. The driver side door was the only side that played audio, the passenger side did not. I verified the speakers are good with a multimeter and by switching them out with the driver side. I’m really not sure what it could be. People online mention the wire mapping of the passenger side is bad. I’m really stumped and if anyone could help that would be fantastic!

another thing to note, i can’t control the passenger window from driver side, i have to reach over to put down/up the window for that side.

Try to find local car electric, because it’s difficult question.

    Hello xcniscool.

I’ve just noticed your question. Based on what you’ve described, it is very likely that the wiring loom that goes from the A-pillar into the passenger doors is damaged. This does happen in many cars, and it is usually that only several wires get severed or damaged in the initial phases. In your case, that would be the wire powering the speaker and the other one, which sends the signal from your driver’s side window button towards the motor inside the passenger side.

    Does that make sense?

    Cheers,
