    i have a 2007 sonata lately i changed the fuel and brake line + rear caliper , disk and pad.
    after that repair the car was going smooth but i needed to do my front brake later that summer to be perfect
    So this morning i did just that. the first time i started my car to steer the wheel had no issue then i said to myself :
    been i while i did no use the AC so let’s see if everything is still fine ! and it was , i had cold air but then the battery light made some flash, then turn off to turn on again.
    i stopped the car did go take a look at the belt while the car was off then again while on idle, i saw nothing ans did not ear nothing too. but now when i start the car at idle everything is fine but if i rev a little the engine over 1000rpm the lights that are on in the dashboard flash and we feel that the engine is kinda missing at the same time as the light flickers.
    since my english is kinda childish a little i made a short video on youtube to show you my issue ^^

    A mechanic can perform a voltage test to measure the output of the alternator while the engine is running. This will help verify if the alternator is providing enough power.

    Hey starsushi, that definitely looks like a bad alternator.

    Do you have a multimeter tool? If yes, you could use it to measure the voltage between battery terminals. With the engine running, you should be getting around 14.5 volts.

    That’s too much, assuming that are the readings on battery terminals with the engine running. The overvoltage is probably what’s causing your problems.

    yhea i did just that yesterday , i got a reading from 16,5 to 17,2 in alternance.
    never had that kind of issue , not charging enough was always the issue when i had alternator problems in the pass^^
