    when the engine has heated up to normal temps, and rev at neutral is at around 600rpm that sound is so minimal that you can’t even notice.

    Thanks for your response.

    Here are the details of the car:

    • Nissan Dualis, 2008
    • Engine type 2.0 litre MR20DE
    • Petrol

    I doubt if it is steering coz it actually doesn’t make that sound when I turn the steering wheel, I think on the video it was just a coincidence that the sound came when I just turned the steering wheel. It normally doesn’t make the sound on the steering wheel turn. Ideally what happens is, for example, I have left the car for some time and I make a cold start, it starts well with high revs of course since the engine is not warm yet. At that moment when the engine is still not yet heated up, on park/neutral, it just sounds normal but when I engage either drive or reverse, that’s when the sound comes up. However, when the engine has heated up to normal temps, and rev at neutral is at around 1.6K that sound is so minimal that you can’t even notice.
