This car is spewing oil everywhere! Upon further inspection I found a giant tear/hole close to the oil filler cap, but not in the oil baffle. The hole is on the side, which I believe may be the timing cover. I have searched the internet for days trying to find someone with a similar issue, but haven’t found anything like it. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? This is an auction car so I don’t know the history other than what the VIN report shows, and there is no negative history listed. I am wondering if maybe someone closed the hood with an oil funnel still in there? Also wondering how expensive this will be to fix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
