My cat converter got stolen…..and they ripped out the O2 sensors.
Can I use any cat converter ? I take it the O2 sensors are specific to my make and model because of the tie-in to the electronics of the warning light/code system ? If so, where can I get these cheap ?
Brand: Honda
Model: Odyssey
Year: 2004
Engine: V6Sorry to hear about this, syswizard😮
Now, if the cat is fitted below the car, you could buy a universal one and have it welded onto the exhaust. But this probably won’t be possible if it is integrated into the exhaust manifold.
As for O2 sensors, my advice is to get new ones from a parts store. You don’t need to buy OEM from the dealer. Brands like NGK or Bosch should do the trick.
I hope that helps.
